cycling Charente Maritime
This region is ideal for cycling holidays, the Charente Maritime makes for the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful region of France. With gently rolling countryside, quiet country lanes and tracks and with the respect that the French have for cyclists, this region is ideal for a cycling holiday or just a relaxing holiday with a few afternoons cycling for fun.
cycling with kids
The Charente Maritime region of France has literally thousands of km of bike paths exclusively dedicated to cycling and walking. The routes are designed with great care to ensure high quality rides along the coastline, waterways and on both the mainland and islands of Ile d'Oleron, Ile d'Aix and Ile de Ré. The network is subject to a regular maintenance and monitoring to ensure a trouble free ride. The 'green routes' are dedicated to horseriding, walking and cycling - guaranteed no motorised vehicles so great for children and families.
